Site status helps you organize your sites by their current state—whether they’re still being built or already launched.

The Two Statuses

In Process

The site is under development. Use this for:
  • New projects you’re building
  • Sites undergoing major updates
  • Staging or test sites
  • Client projects before launch
Visual indicator: Gray badge

Live

The site is published and active. Use this for:
  • Launched production sites
  • Client sites that are complete
  • Sites in maintenance mode
Visual indicator: Green badge

You can also change status in Site Settings under the Status section.

How to Use Status

Organize Your Dashboard

Status helps you visually scan your sites list:
  • Green badges = sites that are done
  • Gray badges = sites that need work

Filter and Prioritize

When you have many sites, use status to:
  • Focus on “In Process” sites during work hours
  • Review “Live” sites for maintenance tasks
  • Quickly identify which client projects are complete

Track Project Progress

Update status as projects move through stages:
  1. Create site → In Process
  2. Build and test → In Process
  3. Launch → Live
  4. Major redesign → In Process
  5. Relaunch → Live

Status and Export

The Export feature tracks when you last exported scripts. Combined with status:
  • In Process sites: Export is for testing/preview
  • Live sites: Export is for client delivery
When you export, the timestamp is recorded. You can see if scripts have changed since the last export—useful for knowing when to re-deliver to clients.

Best Practices

Don’t forget to mark sites as Live after they launch. It keeps your dashboard organized.
Even launched sites can go back to In Process during major redesigns. Switch back to Live when complete.
Schedule time to review Live sites. Check that scripts still work and no updates are needed.

FAQ

No. Status is purely organizational. Scripts load the same way regardless of status.
Not yet, but it’s on the roadmap. For now, status helps with visual scanning.
Currently there are only two statuses. If you need to archive a site, you can delete it or keep it as In Process with a note in the name.
